Campus Musicale Lunigiana is a meeting for young music performers where partecipants closely interact with renown teachers both in chamber and solo performances coming from renowned institutions such as: Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Boston University of Music, Accademia Santa Cecilia di Roma, Shanghai Conservatory, Accademia Pianistica Internazionale di Imola, Conservsatorio Sueperiore di Musica della Svizzera Italiana, RAI Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale di Torino, West Australian University of Music, Eastman School of Music, Lucerne Festival Orchestra etc...Within the Campus,lessons and concerts will be held by teachers and pupils together. One of the goals is to exploit historical and cultural sites of the area and facilities offered by the local communities to develop strong motivation and harmonic socialisation within the Campus.
The Campus will be held in Pontremoli and in the beautiful natural inset of the settlements of Lunigiana, on the western slopes of the Apennine chain dividing Emilia from Tuscany, about 30 km East from the Cinque Terre coast. Performances will take places in different locations, such as the Teatro della Rosa, Palazzo Dosi, small squares in the villages, medieval castles, and open-air areas hand in hand with Nature.

This project aims to providing and appropriate environment and timing to deepen technical and emotional aspects in the interpretation through practice and concerts during the Campus. Partecipants will be offered individual and group lessons and meetings with various teachers to approach basic repertoire techniques and chamber music. This in conformity with the historical traditions of the region based on nature, arts and sports.
Giulio Plotino, (www.giulioplotino.com / youtube) the proponent of the “Campus musicale Lunigiana”, in the last 16 years has been Concertmaster and Guest Concertmaster in the most important orchestras in Italy and abroad (Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Barcelona Symphony orchestra etc....). With this project he devotes himself to teaching and to ensemble playing, exploiting his talent in the places he feels his home, with the company of fellow musicians sharing the same attitude towards musical aggregation.
Cheese, cold cuts and wine are a tradition of local cuisine that offers different environments where to taste and enjoy the aromas of dishes and delicacies of Northern Tuscany. Moreover, guided tours on ancient tracks explore the beauty of lanscapes and natural preserves.
